On the problem of possibilities and perspectives of studying historical sociology at Russian universities

Elaborated is the theme of historical sociology, since second half of the 20th century becoming one of important components of higher sociological education in the world. Many large universities use possibilities of such subject for aims to limit some contradictions in modern theoretical sociology. But in Russian universities the named subject is either practically not presented, or presented as fragments of other complex sociological disciplines, that might be explained by low level of national scientific discourse, as well as low technical fitting out of educational process, and also by some other factors. In the article analyzed are possibilities of using of historical sociological knowledge with taking into account specific of national educational process.
