Currently, the system of higher professional education is undergoing a period of modernization in accordance with the requirements for the quality of training of future doctors. The need to find new effective ways of teaching that combine both tradition and innovation is emphasized. This study discusses the organization and conduct of diagnostic training practice at the pediatric faculty based on the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education 3++ specialty 31.05.02 Pediatrics. An analysis of the satisfaction of 3rd year students based on the results of practice is presented. The important role of including digital technologies in the educational process for the effective development of professional competencies of students is emphasized. The main problems of organizing and conducting diagnostic training practice have been identified and measures have been developed to improve practical training.
