Discussed is the problem of individualization of modern education. Shown is, that this problem is not being reduced to the individual approach, which has particular significance in education, but concerns the whole education system, i.e. it’s targets, methods and ways of implementation. The author states, that the question is not only about that every individual has own way in education. As to the author, the question is mainly about that individualization is a new trend in education, as to it’s internal organization, opens new path of development in it’s modern movement. Conclusion is made, that in the last analysis individualization of education is being seen as a way of formation of new type of educated person, not just a “knowledgeable man”, and also “thinking man”, the need for which has become a sign of our times.

Key words: personality, individuality, individualization, socialization, individual approach, individualized education.
