Presented is analysis of the problem of military professional motivation of cadets of military high schools of National guard of the RF. In detail examined are principal approaches of researches in that direction, as well as description of results of the named researches is given. Described are basic methods of evaluation of motivation of military professional activity of cadets as to personally oriented approach. conducted in this direction are considered. Also analyzed is actuality of developing of humanist approach in the process of educational activity at high schools of National guard of the RF. Substantiated is the choice of principal methodological approaches, principles and conditions of breeding cadets of military institutions of National guard. Results of the research might be interesting for specialists in the sphere of humanization of the process of military education.
