The article discusses key problematic issues related to the effective organization of students’ scientific work. The intensification of educational activities imposes restrictions on scientific work, preventing students from fully realizing their scientific potential. In the absence of regulated labor costs, interrelated areas become conflicting when allocating time resources.

The curriculum provides for students to complete course and thesis works, participate in scientific seminars, and undergo practical training. The distribution of study time is subject to the university program and is monitored by professors and the academic department.

Students’ research work during non-academic hours includes participation in scientific sections, scientific and practical conferences, scientific work competitions, etc. The departments provide students with the necessary training for research activities, and the scientific supervisor (mentor) plays a leading role in distributing the workload.

The algorithm for implementing the method of effective organization of scientific work allows for the implementation of control functions and the formation of a further trajectory for the development of students’ scientific work as an integral part of the main professional educational program.

The method solves the problem of optimizing the criterion dependence of the average score of the final certification and the complexity of mastering scientific work. Formalization of target values (efficiency criteria of NR) when forming a development trajectory allows to ensure an increase in the level of training of students of educational organizations.

Keywords: educational program, scientific work, criterion, efficiency, labor intensity, regulation, target parameters
