Motives for entering of students from China into higher educational institutions of Russian Far East

Presented is the author’s research work, the aim of which is determination of motives of entering of Chinese students into high schools of Russian Far East. By concrete sociological questionnaire of Chinese students, identified are character features of the contingent, who comes to study in Russian universities, and also determined are motives for their arrival. That would direct basic bulk of efforts of universities onto attracting themselves precisely that segment of potential applicants, who obviously is interested in studying in Russia. Also in the research are identified factors, directly influencing on choice of Chinese student of the country for education, as well as key motives, by which students are guided while choosing Russia. Also determined are problem areas, that are in need of additional attention of the host country to improving of quality of rendering services, as well as to optimization of work for attracting of foreign students and further development of this direction.
