“Existential vacuum” of doctor Ragin as to psychological context of emotional exhaustion of lectures in mathematics

Presented is detailed analysis of the notion of “existential vacuum”, voicing in views of hero of novel by A.P. Chekhov “Ward no. 6” doctor Ragin. Firstly, determined is essence of the notion of “existential vacuum”, that, as the author of the article states, is playing important role in educational activity. Secondly, the author of the article in detail analyses the problem of influence of the syndrome of emotional exhaustion on lecturers of mathematic in the process of solving problems of their professional existence in metaphoric interpretation of moral aspect of “existential vacuum”. Up to present date in such formulation the problem of emotional exhaustion of lecturers in mathematic as violation of their value-semantic sphere of activity was not sufficiently developed in philosophic psychological literature, and the author makes contribution in scientific elaboration of it.
