Vocational and labor orientations of school-children

Discussed are problems of organization of professionally oriented work at schools in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. With the aim of identifying of professionally labor orientations of school persons, evaluation of effectiveness labor orientation work, in the year of 2019 was organized a sociological research. Cross-examination was conducted by the method of questionnaire of two generations, i.e. senior school persons and parents of senior school persons. The quota was 790 persons. Results of the research shown, that labor orientation work is being evaluated by respondents as very low. Based on this, the authors presented a number of recommendations, using of which would help significantly change existing negative situation in a better direction.
