Examined is the problem of working out conditions and means of raising quality of training cadres of higher qualification. The authors analyzed traditions of training of professor lecturers staff at high schools, shaped problem moments and substantiated necessity of strengthening pedagogical component of training of post-graduates. Elaborated is technology of formation of readiness of post-graduates for lecturing activity on programs of higher education with obtaining of competences, necessary for gaining qualification of “teacher-researcher”. Also described is the complex of practical measures, aimed at raising the level of pedagogical mastership of young lecturers. Results of researches might be used for improvement the process of training scientific pedagogical cadres during training at post-graduation study.
