Analyzed is the problem of importance of such quality of a person, as multicultural competence. Peculiarities in definition of essence of the named notion, as well as different approaches to that determination in Russia and Germany determine complexity in the formation of it’s meaning. However, functioning of accompaniment educational centers might be useful as to optimization of the process of formation of multicultural competency.
