Presented is research in the problem of patriotism as socio-cultural phenomena. On theoretical level in the article presented are principal view points on value of patriotism. Shown are vectors of transformation of patriotism in connection with global social economic and political changes both in the world and Russia. Based on practical material, shown is, how concretely was being organized breeding space in the city of Nizhny Novgorod in particular as to celebration of 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war. Also presented is positive experience of organization of partnership relation between all subjects of breeding process (family, school, public media, the system of additional education, public organizations, culture and leisure institutions, and etc.)
