The article considers the problem of modeling and organizing of interactive learning in the educational system of modern higher education. The author presents brief historical description of the theory of symbolic interactionism, that allows to understand the nature of interactive learning. Described are approaches of modern teachers to understanding the essence of interactive training, as well as the author’s own definition for that phenomenon elaborated.
