Examined are problems, deal with classification of cases, designed to optimize independent work of students under conditions of higher medical school. Described are new approaches to differentiation of clinical situations, depend on complexity and frequency of exposure. Solution of clinical cases by method of cases helps to identify individual abilities of every student, activization of their cognitive activity and cognitive self-independence, as well as allows to actualize innovative and creative components in activity of lecturer at medical high school. In the opinion of the authors, organization of independent work of students by using case technologies is conductive to individualization and intensification of educational process, makes possible to show innovation by lecturers and bettering creative direction of their pedagogical activity, as well as determines strategy of organization of the manned activity at medical high school.
