Presented is the analysis of the process of studying of mathematics on the basis of meta-cognition and constructive activity of student with the aim of self-development of his personality. In that aspect determined are indicators of self-development of intellectual sphere of student as to the order of their significance. Among such are motives of self-development, need in self-development, individuality in activity, and ability for reflection. Introduced are notions of “cognition of intellect”, “intellectual sphere of personality”, “types of thinking”, “internal and external motivations”. On that basis determined is basic condition of formation of the form of self-development of intellectual sphere of personality. Also formulated are conditions of self-development of intellectual sphere of student in the process of educational construction. Outlined are some indicators of development of intellectual sphere of student as result of educational activity. Also determined is final result of the named process.
