Presented is an analysis on M. Luther’s “Brief catechism”, written for training in fundamentals of Christian faith. Attention is paid to the fact, that since it’s introduction “Brief catechism” was also used for training of reading and writing, thus began to solve the problem of literacy spreading through patterns of education in morality.
