Socio-philosophical aspect of Western concepts of upbringing and education management as a branch of philosophical knowledge in the context of globalization and development problems of civil society institutions is examined. Both analysis and classification social essence of existing schools and directions of social philosophy of education are presented, as well as their ideological contradictions revealed.
