Theory and practice of communicative approach to training in foreign language in modern education

Defined and characterized are stages in development of communicative approach to training in foreign language. Practical experience of using communicative approach to foreign language instruction in various countries is generalized. Also analyzed are modern scientists’ views as to the problem of reasonability to reject traditional methods in foreign language training in favour of communicative approach.
