Peculiarities of paradigm of innovative engineering education in information society (philosophical analysis)

Examined is the process of formation of new system of scientific knowledge and education, the essence of which is in approach to the person as supreme value, end in itself and main condition for development of information society. Presented is innovative educational paradigm of modern engineering education, based on synergetic approach to education, that gives opportunity to form needed competences, as well as preparedness of engineer for active participation in professional and social activities.

Key words: information society, knowledge society, economy of knowledge, paradigm of innovative engineering education, synergetic approach.
