For the first time, presented is empirical information as to peculiarities of social intellect of students in comparison plan between first-year students and students of fifth year of training. Founded are significant interrelations between social, emotional intelligence and social communicative competence among students, that allows to detect steady symptoms complex. Practical recommendations for didactics of higher school are presented. As recommendations, the author enumerates such conditions of development of students’ social intellect, as reflexive character of education, orientation on adaptation of not only the meaning of significant scientific categories, but also on realization of their personal meaning (education in dialogue form, divergent thinking), as well as on solving communicative problems at subject-tj-sobject level in the process of practical works, and inclusion of students into the process of interaction with clients.
