The article discusses the urgent problem of anti-drug education of junior students in the higher education system. The authors argue that the insufficient efficiency of traditional preventive education forms (lectures, talks) and propose the use of interactive training technologies. The theoretical part of the study highlights the key characteristics of training: group dynamics, practice-oriented approach, and reflection. The empirical part presents the results of the experimental verification of the author’s program aimed at forming critical thinking and skills for conscious refusal of psychoactive substances (PAS). The main cognitive distortions of students are identified, and the dynamics of their correction are described. The results of the study confirm that the emphasis on ‘living’ the experience and active subjective participation of students significantly reduces the high-risk group and forms a stable anti-drug position of the future teacher.
