The relevance of this study stems from the fact that building a digital economy and digital education are significant priorities of Russian state policy. The importance of digitalization of the educational process stems from the need to adapt the higher education system to the demands of the digital economy and digital society, the emergence of which is a trend of the modern era. The digital transformation of the higher education system is one of the significant challenges facing modern society, and the use of artificial intelligence technologies is a key element of this transformation.

The university’s SMART educational environment, based on the extensive use of artificial intelligence technologies, makes it possible to quickly take into account students’ activity and their achievements in the educational process.
