Practical training of schoolchildren in first aid and tactical medicine is an important issue requiring new, effective approaches to organizing both in-class and extracurricular activities. Currently, the OBZR curriculum devotes a total of 5 hours of class time to first aid and tactical medicine for grades 9–11, which may be insufficient to develop sustainable first aid skills, especially in extreme conditions. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the “Fundamentals of Tactical Medicine” extracurricular activity program into the educational process of 11th-grade schoolchildren. The results showed that high school students have low levels of knowledge and skills in first aid and tactical medicine. As part of the study, an extracurricular activity program, “Fundamentals of Tactical Medicine”, was developed and implemented. A re-evaluation of knowledge and practical skills demonstrated the program’s effectiveness and confirmed the need to incorporate first aid and tactical medicine into extracurricular activities.
