The article examines the creative and educational environment of a technical university as a factor and instrument for the development of social creativity. The author analyses the multi-level structure of university space, including physical, social, and symbolic elements, and identifies the role of a creative social system in shaping the personality of students, postgraduates, and young scientists. Based on a socio-philosophical approach, the article demonstrates that a modern university 4.0 functions not only as infrastructure, but also as a mediator of values, norms, and meanings, providing conditions for scientific creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation development. Special attention is given to the trend of creating new types of universities by technology companies integrating educational and industrial practices.

Keywords: creative and educational space, subjectivity, creative social system, university 4.0, social creativity
