Student startups in Regional Technical Universities: Agreement of contradictions

The systemic contradictions that arise when student startups organizing in regional technical universities are analyzes at this article and a new model for their resolving is proposes. The study purpose is to identify the underlying problems that hinder the effective development of technological entrepreneurship among students and to develop mechanisms to their overcome. The task of mechanisms defining for coordinating the interests of education, science and industry sets within the innovation ecosystem framework. The methodological basis of the article is the analysis of statistical data, a review of state programs to support startups, as well as a critical analysis of existing practices of interaction between universities and enterprises. System analysis and modeling methods are used to propose a new scheme for organizing student entrepreneurship.

The main results include the key contradictions identification, the dissonance describing of the educational strategy of universities, the tasks of enterprises, industry trends, educational and professional standards, problems and limitations of teachers, and the interests and risks of students. The study novelty lies in the model proposal of an innovative environment based on digital clusters, which integrates universities, enterprises and students through information platforms. This model aimed at personnel recruitment, formation of a scientific and technical reserve and synergy of education with business.

The article originality manifested in a comprehensive approach to problems solving of student startups, combining educational, technological and managerial aspects. The work value lies in practical recommendations for regional universities and enterprises on creating a sustainable ecosystem of technological entrepreneurship. The target group of the article includes researchers in the higher education field, university leaders, and representatives of industry and government bodies, interested in the innovative economy development.
