The aim of our research is to show the effectiveness of binary application of the denotation graph in the teaching process of such disciplines as “Integrated Plant Protection” and “Foreign Language”. We developed a binary form of presentation of educational material in the framework of studying a topic in the discipline of “Integrated Plant Protection” (IPP) and foreign language. This seemed interesting to us because agronomy students, having received special knowledge on the topic in Russian, will be able to learn this topic more easily in a foreign language. Three groups took part in our research: experimental and two control groups. The selected topic was studied by the students in the IPP class and then in the foreign language class.
According to the results of the research, the experimental group showed a significantly higher quality level of knowledge than 2 control groups, in which the stated method was not applied. The results of the study were an indicator of the success of work on the study material with agronomy students, which once again emphasizes that the binary mastering of a topic by students contributes to the improvement of their knowledge and interest in studying not only special subjects, but also foreign language.
