Application of Adaptive Technologies in Teaching students with Special educational needs

The article deals with adaptive technologies, characterized as a set of technologies and teaching methods aimed at implementing the concept of personalized learning. Adaptive technologies are based on the principle of adaptability — the formation of the educational process, taking into account the individual characteristics of the student. The purpose of the study is to consider the essence and structure of the concept of “adaptive learning technology” and determine the effectiveness of its application. Methods used in the study: literature review, pedagogical experiment, comparative analysis. As part of the study, to assess the effectiveness of adaptive technology in the educational process of the university, the author conducted an experiment with the participation of two groups of students. The first group mastered the educational material according to the traditional system of education, the second group used one of the adaptive learning technologies — the project method. The study conducted by the author showed that the introduction of adaptive technology into the educational process of the university shows an effective result.
