The article reveals the problem of the formation of professional identity of university students. A compiled and tested set of psychodiagnostic techniques for studying the specifics of professional identity of university students is described. It is shown that the professional identity of most students is not formed. Recommendations for the psychological services of the university on the development of professional identity among students are presented.
