Lossky, creating comparative basis for the study of ultimate foundations and discoveries of Russian philosopher in the context of his time. The author shows such qualities, as constructiveness of the Russian thinker’s ideas and their extremely accurate sounding in the context of philosophical research of his time and modern stage of science development. The novelty of the research consists of generalizations that give an extremely accurate image of all elements of the system of philosophy by N.O. Lossky in their development, which fits this thinker into the history of Russian philosophy. The author shows reasons for historical continuation of development of the philosophical system, that were fixed in texts of such outstanding thinkers of our time, as S.L. Frank and S.A. Levitsky, who reviewed achievements of N.O. Lossky from different sides, but in the same key of ideal-realism and its basic concepts. N.O. Lossky sought to find new grounds for development of philosophical knowledge and was not afraid to formulate new scientific ideas and build a new system in the era of decline of philosophical systems. The article is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Russian thinker.
