On economic efficiency of introduction of multimedia communication technologies in regional universities

Generalized are results of studies of effectiveness of implementation of multimedia communication technologies in professional activities of higher educational institutions of Rostov-on-Don, the use of which increases the pool of potential entrants and the attractiveness of university as oriented modern market of educational services. Providing educational process with modern multimedia communication technologies is now put at the head of state program, as well as formation of rating of each regional university, it’s image and status among competitors. Objective of the study is to identify financial dependence of universities on external commercial audiences, that directly or indirectly affect development of university and introduction of multimedia communication technologies in educational process. During monitoring of primary and secondary information on activities of regional universities, the authors summed up and concluded, that vector of development of regional education is in introduction of multimedia communication technologies, support of which depends on multiple market actors, directly or indirectly interested in this and having their own commercial interest. Results of the study were presented at International forum “Ensuring the quality of education in terms of European integration” in August 2019 at Don state technical university.
