Transformation of modern youth sub-culture under conditions of development of digital society

Presented is socio-cultural analysis of current state of youth sub-culture in Russia, that is being influenced by digital technologies. The author hypothesizes, that the main subject of technological changes in modern society is digital youth, which has turned informative and communicative technologies into substantive basis of it’s own system of interpersonal relations. Conclusion is made, that network communities, consisting of representatives of generation Z (digital generation), have specifics of sub-culture, which has it’s own system of values, language, traditions, behavior and communication, that are determined by digital technologies and network nature of youth interaction.
