Presented is empirical model of clustering of schools in St.-Petersburg, obtained from results of sociological study and analysis of open statistical sources. Based on three-staged model of educational process, the author describes features of each cluster, as to indicators of “input”, “process” and “effectiveness” of learning. The factors, that contribute to improving of the process and effectiveness of training and resultiveness of education are being highlighted. Presented information reflects statistically significant differences between clusters.
