Social interaction in the professional sphere: on the problem of soft skills

Continued is the theme of relationship between basic competencies, that students acquire in the framework of the FGOS HE in relation with Soft skills in professional sphere. The author draws attention to modernization of “supra-professional” component of training of cadres and introduction of “universal competences” into requirements for results of students’ mastering graduate programs, that are included in modernized higher education standards. Characterized are universal competences, associated with teamwork and leadership, as well as communication and intercultural interaction, correlating with Soft skills. Noted is that mastering of these universal competences contributes to bettering of self-efficacy of university students and formation of their readiness for high-quality professional activity.
