Analyzed is the problem of intergenerational interaction foreshortened development of digital civilization. Examining are variants of the theory of generations, widely presented in scientific publications of recent years. Separately are analyzed features of “digital generation”, needing attention from specialists in educational sphere. Stressed is necessity of active introduction into practice of educational institutions interactive media technologies, assisting solvation of emphasized problem.
