Considered is experience of using situational tasks in teaching the discipline “Bio-chemistry” for students of the natural-geographical faculty as a tool for developing the professional competencies of future teachers. It is shown, that systematic application of situational problems in educational process creates sufficient conditions for development of students’ abilities to analyze the condition of practical problem, to develop scheme for chemical and pedagogical research.
