Researched is the process of formation of skills of professional autonomy in students of language faculty of high schools by active using of innovative technologies of training. Discussed are actual problems of modern methodology of teaching modern methodic of foreign language at high school. Demonstrated are some methods of work, making more active training autonomy of students of language faculty, namely efficiency of using of project methodic as means of formation of needed competences of student. Also presented are some recommendations of universal methodological character, enabling successful adaptation of described method in various types of higher professional educational institutions.
