Examined is the problem of image of the Russian Federation in minds of modern student youth. Characterized are symbols and spheres, personalizing positive image of the country in eyes of students. Also presented is analysis of principal spheres of the process of development of positive image of the Russian Federation, disclosed are both strong and weak sides of the named process, as well as described are it’s objective and subjective prerequisites. Besides, presented is trans-symbolic analysis of the notion of “ideal image of Russia” in minds of students. Also described are the author’s calculations as to possible conditions and ways of formation of positive image of Russia.
