Examined are problems of improving professional training of music teachers, the future participants of aesthetic education through strengthening aesthetic needs of students of musical pedagogical faculties, institutions of arts, etc., which are the basis of personal qualities, necessary in subsequent future practice of music teacher. Presented is methodological approach to the question of aesthetic demands in general, and also to the definition of “need” in particular. Described is relationship of level of formation of aesthetic needs of students with practice in educational institutions. Demonstrated are some techniques for working with students both during classes and optional hours, as well as in their spare time on the basis of student hostel.
