Examined is the problem deficiency of personnel structure of sub-faculties of engineering graphics at technical higher education institutions. The authors defined and formulated principal reasons for discrepancy of requirements and level of professional competence of high schools’ lecturers in engineering and graphic disciplines. Shown up and substantiated are principal directions of solution of this problem by means of raising of qualification of professors’ staff, drawing in graduates of specialty and mastership to work at sub-faculty, raising of scientific activity at sub-faculty, organization of business scientific works on orders of industrial enterprises, establishment of close cooperation with colleges from other technical universities. Also discussed are basic directions for improvement of qualification of teaching staff of engineering and computer graphic. The most productive and urgent aspects of this directions are also revealed.
