Presented is results of original empirical research of ideological world outlook competence of future teachers in preschool education and practicing educators. The evaluation system of ideological competences is being demonstrated on the example of the competence of “ability to carry out training, education and development taking into account social, developmental, psychophysical and individual features, incl. special educational needs of students”. On the basis of the method of Spearman’s rank correlation, proved is that value motivational component in the structure of competences is leading one, influencing parameters obtained in the study of other components of competencies. This means that the existing practices of universities approach is based on consideration of competence as set of knowledge, skills and experience, unjustified from the standpoint of their integral formation and evaluation.
