Analyzed are works of prof. V.A. Kanke, who proposed new understanding of pedagogy. Pedagogy with the aim of avoiding the worst, cannot do anything without other branches of science, achievements of which are studying in educational institutions. This means, that, on the one side, it’s fundament are sub- and meta-disciplines. On the other side, sub-pedagogy is giving a meaning to meta-pedagogy. Thus, pedagogy is in need of developed meta-science. But it’s content up to now is not clarified properly in existing scientific literature. In this regard, prof. Kanke developed the theory of conceptual transduction, according to which science presents management of concepts of objects, principles, laws, variables, theories and series of theories by methods of deduction, adduction, induction, abduction, problematization, innovation, symbolization and interpretation. It opens the way for improvement of both sub- and meta-pedagogy, as well as the theory of learning and the theory education.
Key words: meta-pedagogy, theory of conceptual transduction, maximization of competencies of students.
