Examined is the theme of didactic engineering as technology of training IT-specialists. Didactic engineering is methodology (theory and practice of organization of activity) on creation of didactic systems, means of training and diagnostic of quality oftraining students with using of engineering methods in technic environment. In frames of this methodology, based on set of fundamental law of “solving problems in three steps” built is functional model of engineer. Also revealed is the essence of the problem of synchronization of learning and development. With taking into account specificity of training IT-engineers proposed is technology of their training in technic environments. Offered is comparative evaluation of effectiveness of both single leveled and multi-leveled training courses. Also presented is method of evaluation of complexity of practice-oriented multi-leveled educational curriculum.

Key words: didactic engineering, IT-engineer, knowledge fullness, knowledge integrity, competency, reliability of training.
