Elective integrated courses as instrument for activation of the process of forming ecological jurisprudence competence of students at engineering high school

Disclosed is content of ecological and legal competence, i.e. one of the most important components of professional culture of modern specialist. Also identified are problems of formation of such by students of engineering university. Presented is methodology of solving of these problems as the system of elective supporting courses of eco-cultural orientation with revealing didactic bases and algorithm of modeling of it’s introduction into educational process. Using of them in experimental groups convincingly proves efficiency of elaborated by the author training courses. Also shown is, that integration in content of courses various knowledge helps to activate the process of formation of ecological and legal competence, as well as harmonizes the cognitive sphere of students. Professional orientation of content increases their motivation to independent and better studying of ecological and legal aspects of activity of engineer.
