Necessary potential of hogher agrarian education in Russia as possibility of ensuring food and ecological security (on example of Nizhny Novgorod SAA)

Analyzed is necessary potential of higher agrarian education in Russia, necessary for ensuring food and ecological security of the country. Principal directions of activity of Nizhny Novgorod state agricultural academy in the field of education, ecology, introductions of safe innovations, scientific and practical assistance in implementation of social and economic development of concrete rural territories are considered. Some peculiar features of activity of “Innovative information center of assistance to development of rural territories”, created on the basis of Agrochemistry and Agroecology sub-faculty of Nizhny Novgorod state agricultural academy, are unveiled. Also main prospects of scientific and technical potential of agrarian education of Russia are shown, i.e. possibility of complex ensuring efficiency and sustainable development in all branches of agrarian and industrial complex, as well as formation of a new ecological paradigm as the most important component of outlook of future generations.
