Discussed are problems and prospects of development of national post-graduate study, and formation of such as many-profile educational and scientific research institution. Examined are principal directions of the reform of post-graduate study, researched is the problem of it’s efficiency, as well as characterized are difficulties of it’s practical realization since it has received the status of educational program. There is shown concern about eventual decrease of scientific level of PhD graduates’ thesis of post-graduate students, and decline in prestige of candidate of sciences degree.
