During the years of independence, a large-scale work has been done to develop medical education, as well as all areas of education. These events have reached a new level since 2016. In particular, during this period, the legal framework for the development of medical education was updated and new educational programs were created, as well as foreign relations and cooperation expanded. In addition, works has been done to identify and address issues that have persisted to that date. This, in turn, has played an important role in bringing medical education to a new level. In this article, the development of medical education in the new stage of development of Uzbekistan is analyzed.
