Analyzed is the situation in contemporary system of higher education of Russia as result of reforms in last decades. Examined are such new processes, as commodification and macdonaldization, that are appearing as ways of transmission to students or any clients of educational organizations new knowledge, know-how, skills of mastering of surroundings. These are such ways or technologies of mastering new theories (knowledge, skills, etc.) in which essence of the subject of cognition might be connected with their use as consumer prices. As to knowledge, the term “commodification” means goodization of knowledge, i.e. mastering of this subject in unity of it’s cognitive value and consumer price. Exactly so, the term “macdonaldization” opens technology of standardization of conveyer of the process of cognition and transmission of knowledge analogous with the process of fast nutrition. In such way through the form of “how, in what mode” is being disclosed the essence of educational service as educational discipline.
