Determinants of development of contemporary professional education

Presented an attempt to understand processes, taking place in modern professional education, based on existing theory of post-industrial society and modern approaches to identifying determinants of post-industrial economy development in accordance with hierarchy of the modern world system, global division of production and labor. As determinants of development of modern professional education, the author reveals digitalization of economy, changes in the structure of employment, demand for Soft Skills, Hard Skills and actualization of World Skills throughout the world. The problem of employment and the need for rational distribution of able-bodied population in the labor market is formulated, as well as related problem of implementing effective professional training of future specialists and qualified personnel for developing regional cluster of services and services by example of Tomsk region.
