State youth politics of the Russian Federation: strategic orientations for development

Discussed is the problem of current state and prospects for strategic development of youth and state youth policy of the Russian Federation. Analyzed is effectiveness of work with youth as to realization of adopted in 2014 “Fundamentals of State Youth Policy of the Russian Federation” in terms of socio-demographic indicators, reflecting the state of youth. Examples, illustrating importance and necessity of intensifying activity among potential and real leaders of youth societies in various areas are presented, in connection with what examined are state and prospects of modernization of mechanisms for financing of state youth policy. Conclusion is made about need for system realization of youth policy in state in order to achieve basic objectives of socio-economic development and guaranteeing national security of the country.
