Analyzed is the problem of higher education as antithesis to youth extremism. Given is characteristic of the phenomenon of youth extremism, and also shown are methods, forms and results of it’s manifestations in political space. Substantiated is, that youth extremism threatens stability of existence of society and state. Elaborated are both basic methods and means of preserving development of manifestations of extremism in youth midst. As to the author’s opinion, within the framework of the fight against manifestations of youth extremism, higher education as a whole and each high school ought to be inspired by focusing their attention on development of such parameters of their professional activity, as general level of education and innovative human capital of society.
