What modern education can set off against youth extremism?

Analyzed are pedagogical problems of struggle against extreme manifestations in youth, and also the role of education in the process of harmonization of social relations. Noted is, that under conditions of spreading of extremism, covering all forms of social interaction, there arise problems of peoples’ life, disoriented and aggressive against each other. Recently youth extremism is being stronger, de-facto becomes extension of many civilizational conflicts, related to historical past. In connection with that, necessary are new conceptual and methodological approaches to evaluation of rolling to critical situation in society, associated with youth extremism. It is also noted, that there is necessity to avoid in the process of building of pedagogical courses evidence of many principles, causing excessive edification in educational process.

Key words: progress of social life, modernization of education, youth extremism, stagnation and crisis in public life, mass consciousness.
